I've had a blessed life with support when needed from family. I want to pay it forward and help those who need support but do not have someone nearby while supporting their dignity and independence. It's all about giving back.
As a person with education in Healthcare Administration, I am the go to person for all of my family members when it comes to healthcare support. That means anytime someone ends up in the hospital I am there. I supported my grandma at after diagnosis of dementia until placement in a facility was needed. I also learned the importance of caring for others in elementary school where I volunteered regularly at nursing homes to sit with patients to prevent loneliness. I have taken the CNA class and am CPR certified (expecting CNA certification in a few days). I have experience working in and navigating many healthcare settings whether that is physician offices, home health, nursing homes, and hospitals.
